Key Responsibilities

eneral Civil Labouring Duties
- Perform various manual labour tasks across the construction site.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and project crews efficiently.

Assisting with Earthworks and Site Preparation
- Support earthmoving activities by assisting with the setup and execution of projects.
- Ensure the site is adequately prepared for construction activities as directed.

Loading, Unloading, and Moving Materials
- Safely handle materials by loading and unloading equipment, supplies, and other construction materials.
- Transport materials to designated areas to support construction tasks.

Working Around Underground Services and Live Construction Activities
- Navigate construction environments with active underground services.
- Assist in ensuring safety protocols are followed to prevent interference with live activities.

Supporting Supervisors and Project Crews
- Provide reliable assistance to supervisors and project teams as required.
- Adapt to dynamic work conditions and execute tasks to meet project goals.

Maintaining a Safe and Productive Work Environment
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to promote a healthy work environment.
- Report unsafe conditions or behaviours to supervisors immediately.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in civil construction or a related field is beneficial, but not required.
- A strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina and the capability to perform manual labour activities.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
